The International Conference on the Fundamentals of Quantum Matter (ICFQM) is part of the 2024 Beijing International Academic Season (BAS). BAS is initiated by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park. Started in 2018, BAS serves as an open platform to create communication and collaboration among researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors.

The conference features about 30 presentations by speakers from all over the world. This conference will be held in Beijing, China with live streaming to global audience. We welcome your participation virtually or in person.

Quantum matter has become a hot topic in condensed matter physics in recent years. The interplay of different degrees of freedom including lattice, charge, orbit, and spin gives rise to exotic physical properties in solids. The conference will bring together leading researchers working on these topics and will be broadcast online to allow worldwide participation.
