The International Conference on the Fundamentals of Quantum Matter (ICFQM) is part of the 2024 Beijing International Academic Season (BAS). BAS is initiated by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park. Started in 2018, BAS serves as an open platform to create communication and collaboration among researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors.
The conference features more than 30 presentations by speakers from all over the world. This conference will be held in Beijing, China. We welcome your participation virtually or in person.
Understanding the quantum states of matter constitutes both the challenge and the vitality of condensed matter and materials physics. The interaction of various degrees of freedom, including the atomic structure and the electronic charge, spin, and orbitals, gives rise to exotic physical properties in quantum materials, which demands a deeper comprehension of the fundamental physics of correlation, geometry, and topology. The conference will assemble leading researchers to facilitate the exchange and collaboration on frontier topics in this exciting and expanding field of physical sciences.
We look forward to seeing you in ICFQM!
Sincerely yours,
